Hot Biscuit in Houston

Waitress was very sweet. As soon as I arrived it got busy. Salad bar needed to be refreshed. Catfish sandwich so yummy! Definitely will be back.

Great food. You can sit and order from menu or eat from the buffet. Great variety. Nice comfy atmosphere. Chicken fried steak, gravy, peach cobbler, and ice-cream was really good. Close to airport.

Food was great..really big portions...couldn't finish it all...the biscuits and gravy were great..the chicken fried steak..nice and tender..eggs cooked perfect...lots of parking..clean establishment..lots of seating...prices were reasonable...👍👍👍grits were good also..

Good food! Dated facility, it's past due for some renovation but I'd recommend it if you want to skip past the fast-food joints and have a sit down meal with friendly helpful wait staff.

Delicious, simple breakfast buffet with eggs, pancakes, sausage, bacon and way more for $12. The service was very friendly too.

There's something cool about Hot Biscuit. Hard to say what that something is; on the face of it, it's a slightly down-at-heels diner, a little chipped around the edges but still friendly and happy. But the food is uniformly good, and hot (though simple), there are more choices than you might expect going in, including healthier options, and the service is always friendly. Coffee is pretty ordinary, but otherwise, it's great. And I love that it isn't a chain :)

The 2 ladies were very nice. Jus wasnt happy that we got set right in front of the entrance door while it was cold

My mother and I enjoy going to the Hot Biscuit. It seems they always something that sounds and is good. My mother and I get to catch up on the things going on in our lives and exciting new things coming up. We just like it. It's good and it's prepared well.

Stopped here for breakfast on our way through Houston. Amazing food with great service and reasonable prices.

I ordered the waffle deuces I think it was called and I forgot what my boyfriend's order was called. My waffle was a little too crispy and so was the Turkey bacon, but that has never happened before so no real complaints here. I still enjoyed the meal. The waitress was fantastic and the atmosphere is always relaxed. Seems mostly like an older crowd that typically dines here. We will still be there every other week for breakfast. 😌

Was in Houston area, stopped here for breakfast. Although the breakfast buffet looked pretty good, glad I chose a bacon, mushroom, Swiss egg white omelette. The omelette was very good, home fries were perfectly cooked, and the biscuits nice and flaky. Excellent coffee also!

We brought a big group in late at night after a flight issue. Service was FANTASTIC (even at midnight!) and food was so good. Definitely the highlight of our night after a long day!

Food poisoning waiting to happen! Horrible non fresh bacon, nasty waffle, terrible grits, I took one bite out of everything and refused the rest. Save yourself the trouble and go to Denny’s or ihop. You would think being by the airport it would be good. Smh

Offered off menu items OR a breakfast buffet. I always opt buffet. It was decent. Food was warm not hot but still worth the $9.50, I definitely ate my money's worth. Very convenient spot if needing a meal before going to airport and I think it was open 24hrs. Oh, and had French Toast on buffet with strawberry sauce which would make me return.

if a name of this place, Hot Biscuit, gave you a picture of comfort food then you know what this place is about. I usually get breakfast but most recently I got the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. (to me it's all about the gravy)

Was there a bit early for supper so business was slow. Waitstaff was friendly and helpful. My catfish was cooked perfectly. Tea was fresh.

Great American comfort food, with good buffet options. Convenient for stops before of after flights at Bush Intercontinental Airport Houston. Reasonably priced.

My overall experience was great. Food and service was good. Food selection should of had a little more but it had good flavor.

Me and my coworkers tried this place out. The price is very reasonable for the food. The staff there were really good in attending use also. The only thing that I wasn't too pleased with is that the food was cold especially if you get the buffet breakfast. I order the 3.99 special they advertise outside which includes: 2 pancakes, 2 strips of bacon, and 2 eggs. The pancakes were much bigger than what they serve at the buffet section and the eggs were good also but the bacon was over cook in which I was too satisfied with that either. Overall you get what you pay for at this location but I give it more stars if the food was served rightly cooked and hot/warm.

This place! Is so surprising, the food and service is superb!

Nasty. All of it. The service wasn’t the best either BUT the food was gross. The pancakes were rubbery, the biscuits were not even cooked all the way. And when I told the waitress, she completely ignored me and walked away. Will not recommend or come back.

They definitely need to change the name because nothing was hot, especially not the biscuits. The coffee was old. There was an employee grabbing food off the buffet and putting it in her mouth then going back for more. At that point we decided to go and we definitely wont be back nor will we recommend

This place reminds me of an old School diner and old fashioned cooking. Great food, check them out.

We were seated quickly. We were welcome in a friendly way. The waitress took our order fast. She was helpful in my decision as to what I wanted to order. The food was prepared perfectly. The waitress returned to our table several times within good between times. I was too full for a dessert but they sure did look good on the menu. It was my first time going to this place to eat but it will NOT be my last time.

They was okay some was a little big and some was small I ordered. In extra egg white I was charged for extra egg white. Eggs normally with York in the middle and was Charge extra just to take the yolk out of the egg white WOW. I got an extra pancake by accident and was charged $2.69.

It was a great gathering for my family on Christmas morning. We will most likely do this again next year

It was ok. I ordered the Patty melt and it came on 7 grain bread with tomatoes. The bread was good but rye bread would have been better which they didn't have. And tomatoes? No no no. My daughter ordered the Country style eggs Benedict that came with scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy on a biscuit. But they gave her the Southern style. The waitress said we ordered the Southern one. We know for a fact that we ordered the Country one because we wanted the biscuit, which wasn't an option with the Southern one (this one comes on an English muffin). Plus it was with the hollandaise sauce which was not very good. And the egg was overcooked. We didn't have time for them to correct it because my daughter and her friends were catching a flight out in an hour and a half. If we ever stop in there again I would like to see what their other items on the menu are any better.

Bad service food was nothing as shown in menu i ordered th d lasagna and when i said why cheddar cheese she said its tex mex i didnt orddr tex mex menu says taste of Italy did nothing to make me happy paid 30 dollars for food that did not get eaten
